Know Your Camera

Photography is the best way to describe a feeling when words fall short. Taking an image, freezing a moment reveals how rich reality truly is. As the whole world is going digital, there are so many people who want to learn photography. Panjab Motors invited us to conduct a photography workshop at their premises on the eve of World Photography Day. Panjab Motors is an authorized dealership for Mercedes Benz India. The workshop was hosted by Nitin Rai Chaudhary, Founder of Digital Series, which is amongst the Best Digital Marketing Agency in Chandigarh. He is a Brand Marketer and Travel Photographer by profession. He is working from past 16 years.

In the workshop, he talked about various genres of photography. For someone who is passionate for Photography, first thing first is to choose a genre. There are so many genres in photography, for example – wedding photography, food photography, architectural photography, nature photography and fashion photography etc. After talking about the genres of photography Mr.Nitin talked about the rule of thirds. Although rule of thirds doesn’t apply in every situation, and sometimes breaking it can result in much-more eye-catching and interesting photos. Post production editing tools play a very important role in cropping and reframing the images.

Modern photography is changing how we remember our lives. Every picture has a story, every story has a life. A photographer shouldn’t be thinking much about the equipments or the camera lenses. A beginner should start clicking with whatever camera tool is available. In this workshop, Mr. Nitin also showed his Brand Films and some Travel Photography clicks. The workshop was followed by a Q&A session. Overall, it was a very interactive workshop. In our Digital Marketing course, we also cover photography. Because when we talk about Digital Brand Management, which also includes Content and Marketing, Photography plays a crucial role. We would be conducting more such sessions in future. Stay tuned!
