Today we are living in a digital era where we have an opportunity to transform businesses in ways that was hard to imagine a couple of decades ago. We should no longer be talking about ‘digital marketing’ but marketing in a digital world. At least 40% of all businesses will die in the next 10 years if they don’t figure out how to change their entire company to accommodate new technologies. On that note, with a vision to do something different, Nitin Rai Chaudhary and his team launched a series of workshop cum seminar called ‘Know Your Digital’.
Digital Series recently conducted their first KnowYourDigital workshop in University Business School, Panjab University, Chandigarh. This is workshop was specially conducted for the MBA students of University Business School. The workshop was hosted by Nitin Rai Chaudhary. He shared his 16 years of work experience as a Brand Marketer with students. Students worked on some specific practical aspects of Digital Marketing such Alexa Ranking, Google Analytics and Website Speed Test by Pingdom, during the workshop. Students also took part in a Twitter activity, where they were told to tweet something using the hashtag #KnowYourDigital. Top two participants who posted the most relevant tweets were awarded goodie bags from Digital Series. The main purpose behind this activity was to make them realize the importance of content writing; it is an art which anybody can learn. It just needs right thoughts and right words. Because undoubtedly in today’s digital world content is THE KING.
Digital India is an enterprise for India’s transformation on a scale that is, perhaps, unmatched in human history. Just think about learning and education with all the new tools that are being built. We are on the cusp of the acceleration of that and undoubtedly it’s the most exciting time to be alive. But still in many parts of the country people are unaware of all the developments that are taking place in taking place, especially in schools and colleges. Through this campaign, we want to spread awareness among students regarding the rising importance on Digital Marketing and some other aspects such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Digital Payments.
